...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN LETCHER AND
SOUTHWESTERN PIKE COUNTIES THROUGH 1045 AM EDT...

At 1017 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Shelby Gap, or 7 miles northwest of Clintwood, moving northeast at 40
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Pikeville, Coal Run Village, Elkhorn City, Shelby Gap, Fishtrap Lake,
Zebulon, Garden Village, Beefhide, Phyllis, Ashcamp, Marrowbone,
Dorton, Virgie, Raccoon, Biggs, Myra, Rockhouse, Adamson, Burdine,
and Belcher.

THIS INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING HIGHWAYS...
 U.S. Highway 119 in Pike County between mile markers 1 and 4.
 U.S. Highway 23 in Lethcher County between mile markers 4 and 7.
 U.S. Highway 23 in Pike County between mile markers 0 and 27.
