...A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT NORTHERN POWELL...
MONTGOMERY...BATH...MENIFEE...FLEMING AND WESTERN ROWAN COUNTIES
THROUGH 1115 PM EDT...

At 1025 PM EDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from near Fairview to Sharpsburg to near
Levee. Movement was east at 20 mph.

Winds in excess of 30 mph and half inch hail are possible with these
storms.

Locations impacted include...
Mount Sterling, Morehead, Flemingsburg, Owingsville, Frenchburg,
Marshall, Jeffersonville, Camargo, Sharpsburg, Salt Lick, Campsites
in the Indian Creek area of the Daniel Boone National Forrest,
Fairview, Clay Lick, Ramey, Pecks Ridge, Levee, Wyoming, Cornwell,
Peasticks and Rothwell.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
