...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT NORTHWESTERN POWELL...
MONTGOMERY...SOUTH CENTRAL BATH AND NORTHWESTERN MENIFEE COUNTIES...

At 707 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Waltersville,
or near Stanton, moving northeast at 40 mph.

Winds in excess of 30 mph and pea size hail are possible with this
storm.

Locations impacted include...
Mount Sterling, Stanton, Jeffersonville, Camargo, Clay City, Clay
Lick, Means, Levee, Preston, Walkers Crossing, Olympia Springs, Cedar
Groves, Coons Station, Stepstone, Bean, Waltersville, Gatewoods
Station, Virden, Vaughns Mill and Crooks.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
