...POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS HEAT EXPECTED TODAY THROUGH SATURDAY...

Temperatures will reach the low to mid 90s during the day Friday.
This heat will combine with increased humidity values to produce
heat indices at or just above 100 degrees. Temperatures around 90
degrees and heat indices in the upper 90s to 100 degrees will
also be possible this afternoon, as well as during the day
Saturday. Heat of this magnitude could be dangerous, especially
for the elderly and those with pre-existing health conditions.

Those planning outdoor activities later this week and into the
weekend should take frequent breaks in the shade, drink plenty of
water, and limit strenuous activities during the afternoon and
early evening hours when the heat is at its peak. Continue to
monitor later forecasts for updates.
