...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT NORTHEASTERN MORGAN...EASTERN
ROWAN AND ELLIOTT COUNTIES...

At 404 AM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Gates, or near
Morehead, moving southeast at 30 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph are possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Morehead, Sandy Hook, Lenox, Cranston, Wagner, Blairs Mills, Fannin
Valley, Moon, Elliottville, Little Sandy, Triplett, Christy, Jeptha,
Lytten, Hamm, Crix, Elamton, Wagner Store, Munson and Isonville.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
