...AN AREA OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT NORTHWESTERN WAYNE AND
SOUTHWESTERN PULASKI COUNTIES...

At 302 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were clustered near Jamestown, or
12 miles northwest of Monticello, moving northeast at 30 mph.

Winds in excess of 30 mph and pea size hail are possible with this
storm.

Locations impacted include...
Somerset, Science Hill, Naomi, Cains Store, Stab, Nancy, Parnell,
Pointer, Pulaski County Park, Somerset Pulaski Airport, Cabell,
Hogue, Faubush, Magnum, Trimble and Ferguson.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may cause
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A tornado watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for south central
Kentucky.
