THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH THURSDAY AFTERNOON...

.A SLOW MOVING COLD FRONT WILL SLOWLY SAG SOUTHEAST ACROSS
EASTERN KENTUCKY THROUGH THIS EVENING AND INTO THE CREST OF THE
APPALACHIANS TONIGHT...SPREADING RAIN ACROSS THE AREA. COLDER AIR
SPREADING INTO THE AREA WILL ALLOW SLEET OR FREEZING RAIN TO MIX
WITH RAIN...BEFORE CHANGING OVER TO ALL SNOW. SIGNIFICANT SNOW
AND ICE ACCUMULATIONS ARE EXPECTED. SNOW WILL FINALLY TAPER OFF
BY THURSDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING.

  WILL CHANGE TO JUST SNOW BY LATE THIS EVENING. SNOW WILL
  LIGHTEN AND TAPER OFF THURSDAY AFTERNOON.

* SNOW AND SLEET ACCUMULATIONS OF 8 TO 11 INCHES. A LIGHT GLAZE
  OF ICE FROM FREEZING RAIN IS ALSO POSSIBLE FROM THIS AFTERNOON
  INTO EARLY THIS EVENING.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF THIS MAGNITUDE WILL MAKE TRAVEL DIFFICULT

  RAIN. IN ADDITION...HEAVY WET SNOW FALLING ON TOP OF THESE SLICK
  ROADWAYS WILL MAKE TRAVEL DIFFICULT AND HAZARDOUS. PLEASE TAKE
  EXTREME CAUTION AND AVOID UNNECESSARY TRAVEL IF POSSIBLE. HEAVY
  WET SNOW COULD ALSO LEAD TO DOWNED POWER LINES AND TREES AND
  SINCE THE GROUND IS SATURATED... ISOLATED POWER OUTAGES WOULD BE
