...LIGHT SNOW ACCUMULATIONS ABOVE 2000 FEET THIS MORNING...

.A COLD AIRMASS WILL QUICKLY SPREAD INTO EASTERN KENTUCKY THIS
MORNING WITH RAIN CHANGING OVER TO SNOW AROUND DAYBREAK ABOVE
2000 FEET. PERIODS OF SNOW WILL THEN CONTINUE THROUGH MIDDAY
BEFORE TAPERING OFF EARLY THIS AFTERNOON.

UNTIL 1 PM EDT THIS AFTERNOON...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN JACKSON HAS ISSUED A WINTER
WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FOR ELEVATIONS ABOVE
2000 FEET UNTIL 1 PM EDT THIS AFTERNOON.

* RAIN WILL CHANGE TO SNOW AROUND DAYBREAK ABOVE 2000 FEET. THE
  SNOW WILL THEN CONTINUE THROUGH MIDDAY BEFORE TAPERING OFF
  EARLY THIS AFTERNOON.

* WHILE NO SNOW ACCUMULATION IS EXPECTED IN THE VALLEYS...THE
  RIDGES ABOVE 2000 FEET CAN EXPECT TO SEE 1 TO 3 INCHES OF
  SNOW...MAINLY ON ELEVATED AND GRASSY SURFACES.

* WHILE IMPACTS TO ROAD SURFACES WILL BE LIMITED...SNOW SHOWERS
  WILL CREATE AREAS OF SHARPLY REDUCED VISIBILITIES AT TIMES.
  EXERCISE CAUTION IF TRAVELING ACROSS THE HIGH TERRAIN THROUGH
  MIDDAY.

WILL CAUSE PRIMARILY TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR SNOW
