...FREEZING RAIN ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON EDT TODAY...

The National Weather Service in Jackson has issued a Freezing
Rain Advisory, which is in effect until noon EDT today.

* A band of light precipitation will move across eastern Kentucky
this morning. This will fall as a period of freezing rain and
sleet where temperatures remain at or below freezing.
Temperatures are expected to rise above freezing by noon, ending
  the freezing rain threat.

* Be alert for slick spots developing on untreated roads,
especially shaded back roads, bridges and overpasses. Also, a
light glaze of ice may make porches and sidewalks slick and
  hazardous.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Freezing Rain Advisory means that periods of freezing rain or
freezing drizzle will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while driving.
