...ACCUMULATING SNOW ACROSS SOUTHERN AND SOUTHEASTERN PORTIONS OF
EAST KENTUCKY...

.A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM TRACKING FROM THE SOUTHEASTERN STATES TO
THE CAROLINA COAST WILL BRUSH PARTS OF EASTERN KENTUCKY WITH
ACCUMULATING SNOW. SNOW WILL CONTINUE TO OVERSPREAD PARTS OF
SOUTHERN SOUTHEASTERN KENTUCKY OVERNIGHT BEFORE TAPERING OFF
TOWARD DAYBREAK. LOCATIONS ALONG AND SOUTH OF THE HAL ROGERS
PARKWAY WILL LIKELY SEE THE HIGHER SNOW AMOUNTS. THE HIGHEST
ACCUMULATIONS SHOULD OCCUR AT 2000 FEET AND ABOVE NEAR THE
VIRGINIA BORDER.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...A BAND OF SNOW HAS DEVELOPED OVER THE AREA
  WITH SNOW AMOUNTS OF 1 TO 2 INCHES POSSIBLE ALONG THIS BAND.

* IMPACTS...ROAD CONDITIONS WILL LIKELY BECOME HAZARDOUS TONIGHT
  THROUGH THURSDAY MORNING. WHEN TRAVELING...SLOW DOWN AND DRIVE
