...WINTRY MIX OF RAIN...SNOW...AND SLEET TO HEAVY SNOW OVERNIGHT
THROUGH THURSDAY AFTERNOON...

.COLDER AIR IS CONTINUING TO SPREAD INTO THE AREA AND HAS
ALLOWED FOR A TRANSITION TO SLEET AND SNOW MIXED WITH
RAIN ACROSS THE NORTHWEST. THIS WILL CHANGE OVER TO ALL SNOW
OVERNIGHT. SIGNIFICANT SNOW AND ICE ACCUMULATIONS ARE EXPECTED.
SNOW WILL FINALLY TAPER OFF BY THURSDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING.

  AREA...CHANGING PRECIPITATION FROM RAIN...TO A MIXTURE OF SNOW
  AND SLEET. THE MIXED PRECIPITATION WILL CONTINUE TO CHANGE OVER
  TO ALL SNOW THROUGH THE OVERNIGHT HOURS. SNOW WILL LIGHTEN AND
  TAPER OFF THURSDAY AFTERNOON.

* SNOW AND SLEET ACCUMULATIONS OF 8 TO 11 INCHES WITH HIGHER
  AMOUNTS POSSIBLE.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF THIS MAGNITUDE WILL MAKE TRAVEL
  DIFFICULT TO TREACHEROUS. IN ADDITION...THE HEAVY WET NATURE
  OF THIS SNOW WILL CAUSE STRESS ON WEAK STRUCTURES AND COULD
  ALSO LEAD TO DOWNED POWER LINES AND TREES WITH SOME POWER
  OUTAGES POSSIBLE.

  TO KY HIGHWAY 80 CORRIDOR. ANY ICE ACCUMULATIONS WILL GENERALLY
  BE A TENTH OF AN INCH OR LESS.

* SNOW OF THIS MAGNITUDE WILL MAKE TRAVEL DIFFICULT TO
  TREACHEROUS. IN ADDITION...THE HEAVY WET NATURE OF THIS SNOW

  PRECIPITATION. IN ADDITION...HEAVY WET SNOW FALLING ON TOP OF
  THESE SLICK ROADWAYS WILL MAKE TRAVEL DIFFICULT AND HAZARDOUS.
  PLEASE TAKE EXTREME CAUTION AND AVOID UNNECESSARY TRAVEL IF
  POSSIBLE. HEAVY WET SNOW COULD ALSO LEAD TO DOWNED POWER LINES
  AND TREES AND SINCE THE GROUND IS SATURATED... ISOLATED POWER
  OUTAGES WOULD BE POSSIBLE.
