.COLDER AIR CONTINUES TO SPREAD INTO THE AREA AND HAS ALLOWED FOR
A TRANSITION TO ALL SNOW OR A WINTRY MIX OF SNOW AND SLEET. THIS
SHOULD CHANGE OVER TO ALL SNOW THROUGH DAYBREAK. SIGNIFICANT SNOW
AND ICE ACCUMULATIONS ARE EXPECTED. SNOW WILL FINALLY TAPER OFF BY
THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF THIS MAGNITUDE WILL MAKE TRAVEL
  DIFFICULT TO TREACHEROUS. IN ADDITION...THE HEAVY WET NATURE
  OF THIS SNOW WILL CAUSE STRESS ON WEAK STRUCTURES AND COULD
  ALSO LEAD TO DOWNED POWER LINES AND TREES WITH SOME POWER

  THE SNOW MAY FALL HEAVY AT TIMES THIS MORNING...BEFORE
  LIGHTENING AND TAPERING OFF BY AFTERNOON.

* 2 TO 5 INCHES OF ADDITIONAL SNOW SHOULD FALL THROUGH EARLY
  AFTERNOON. THIS WILL BRING STORM TOTAL SNOW AND SLEET
  ACCUMULATIONS TO THE 3 TO 7 INCH RANGE. THE HIGHER SNOW AND
  SLEET ACCUMULATIONS SHOULD GENERALLY BE NORTH OF THE CUMBERLAND
  PARKWAY...TO HAL ROGERS PARKWAY...TO KY HIGHWAY 80 CORRIDOR.

* SNOW OF THIS MAGNITUDE WILL MAKE TRAVEL DIFFICULT TO
  TREACHEROUS. IN ADDITION...THE HEAVY WET NATURE OF THIS SNOW
  WILL CAUSE STRESS ON WEAK STRUCTURES AND COULD ALSO LEAD TO
  DOWNED POWER LINES AND TREES WITH WIDESPREAD POWER OUTAGES
  POSSIBLE.

  TENTH OF AN INCH OR LESS.

* ROADS WILL DEVELOP SLICK SPOTS AS THE MIXED PRECIPITATION FALLS.
  IN ADDITION...HEAVY WET SNOW FALLING ON TOP OF THESE SLICK
  ROADWAYS WILL MAKE TRAVEL HAZARDOUS. PLEASE TAKE EXTREME
  CAUTION AND AVOID UNNECESSARY TRAVEL IF POSSIBLE. HEAVY WET SNOW
  COULD ALSO LEAD TO DOWNED POWER LINES AND TREES...WITH ISOLATED
  POWER OUTAGES WOULD BE POSSIBLE.
