Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southeast Michigan
National Weather Service Detroit/Pontiac MI
356 PM EDT Tue May 7 2024

.DISCUSSION...An approaching warm front will cause humidity values to
increase and will support numerous showers and scattered
thunderstorms this evening. Warmer and drier air will then advance
into the area for Wednesday. Strong west winds of 20 to 30 mph are
expected to develop by late morning with minimum RH values Wednesday
afternoon in the 30 percent range. A low pressure system will bring
the next chance for rain to the area Thursday. Northeast winds on
Thursday will contribute to much cooler temperatures.
