...Beginning of Frost and Freeze Headlines...

Effective today, NWS Grand Rapids will begin issuing Freeze
Watches, Freeze Warnings, and Frost Advisories as needed for the
following counties...

Van Buren, Kalamazoo, Calhoun, Jackson, Allegan, Barry, Eaton,
Ingham, Ottawa, Kent, Ionia, Clinton, Muskegon, Montcalm, Gratiot,
Oceana, Newaygo, Mecosta, and Isabella.

With blooming vegetation in southern to portions of central Lower
Michigan becoming increasingly vulnerable to temperatures below
32 degrees, and especially temperatures in the mid to upper 20s,
these seasonal Frost and Freeze headlines are provided as a
service to increase awareness that mitigation efforts may be
needed.
