Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Western
and North Central Nebraska
National Weather Service North Platte NE
309 PM CDT Sun Aug 20 2017

.DISCUSSION...

Slight chances for thunderstorms in the late afternoon-evening
time period today with the best chances along and east of a line
from Hayes Center to Valentine.

Tomorrow is expected to be generally partly sunny to mostly
cloudy with less sky cover in the far southwest. The lack of
sunshine, elevated dewpoints and near to slightly below seasonal
normal temperatures will promote elevated afternoon humidity.
Increasing chances for showers and thunderstorms tomorrow
afternoon and evening as well. Similar to slightly cooler
conditions are expected then on Tuesday, though drier with
afternoon minimum humidity largely between 30 and 40 percent.
