.DISCUSSION...

Hot temperatures across western and north central Nebraska today
with thunderstorms possible this afternoon and evening. Dry
conditions will combined with hot temperatures resulting in
minimum afternoon humidity about 20 to 30 percent over western
NEB. The best chances for thunderstorms is from southwest NEB to
central and south central NEB.

Thunderstorms are then possible again tomorrow in the southern
Sandhills on south, however, coverage of thunderstorms is
expected to be more isolated/spotty. Highs will also be 5 to 10
degrees cooler. Beyond Saturday, slightly above seasonal normal
temperatures will prevail over the next seven days. Predominantly
dry conditions through Tuesday.
