This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and
north central Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY.

Light snow will affect portions of the northern Sandhills Thursday
morning. Little to no accumulation is expected, although a dusting
cannot be ruled out for areas along and north of Highway 20.

Strong northwest winds are likely again Thursday with gusts
approaching 40 mph in western Nebraska and 30 mph for central
Nebraska. Travel may be difficult for high-profile and lightweight
vehicles. Brief drops in visibility are also possible during snow
showers.

Fire weather conditions are elevated Friday, primarily across the
southern panhandle and southwest Nebraska as seasonably mild
temperatures combine with very dry air. West winds should remain
generally under 20 mph.
