THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF WESTERN AND
NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

THERE IS A SLIGHT CHANCE FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS THIS AFTERNOON
AND TONIGHT...MAINLY SOUTH AND WEST OF A LINE FROM STOCKVILLE TO
ARNOLD TO MULLEN AND ALLIANCE. THE MAIN SEVERE WEATHER THREAT IS
EXPECTED TO BE DAMAGING WIND AND LARGE HAIL...THOUGH AN ISOLATED
TORNADO WILL BE POSSIBLE DURING THE LATE AFTERNOON TO MID EVENING
TIME FRAME AS WELL.

A STRONG LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL MOVE SLOWLY EASTWARD ACROSS THE
ROCKIES THROUGH TONIGHT INTO TUESDAY. SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL
CONTINUE THIS AFTERNOON ACROSS PORTIONS OF THE PANHANDLE INTO
NORTHERN NEBRASKA...WITH ADDITIONAL DEVELOPMENT IN THE SOUTHERN
PANHANDLE INTO SOUTHWEST NEBRASKA LATER THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING.
THUNDERSTORMS WILL BECOME MORE WIDESPREAD AFTER 5 PM CDT...WITH
STORMS HAVING THE CAPABILITY OF PRODUCING LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING
WINDS. AN ISOLATED TORNADO WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE ACROSS PORTIONS OF
SOUTHWEST NEBRASKA BY LATE AFTERNOON INTO EARLY EVENING.

THE AREA OF THUNDERSTORMS IS EXPECTED TO EVOLVE INTO A LINE OF
STORMS AND MOVE EASTWARD THROUGH THE EVENING AND WILL AFFECT THE
INTERSTATE 80 CORRIDOR AND HIGHWAYS WEST OF NORTH PLATTE THROUGH
MIDNIGHT. A FEW STORMS WILL HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO PRODUCE VERY
HEAVY RAIN AS WELL.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY.

UNTIL THE STORM SYSTEM EXITS ON TUESDAY AFTERNOON A SLIGHT CHANCE
FOR LINGERING SHOWERS AND EMBEDDED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE
POSSIBLE...MAINLY ACROSS NORTHERN NEBRASKA. NO SEVERE WEATHER IS
EXPECTED ON TUESDAY.

WEDNESDAY WILL SEE ANOTHER WEAKER LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM MOVE ACROSS
THE AREA WITH AFTERNOON THUNDERSTORMS POSSIBLE. AGAIN STORMS ARE
EXPECTED TO REMAIN BELOW SEVERE LIMITS FOR WEDNESDAY.
