This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and north
central Nebraska.
.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.
The probability of widespread hazardous weather is low.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.
A storm system continues to impact the area through Thursday night.
Winds strengthen from the north Thursday morning, with gusts of 35 to
40 miles per hour through the evening hours. Temperatures may become
cold enough early Thursday morning to support snow. At this time,
the greatest threat for snow is over the northwestern Sandhills,
with accumulations of a dusting anticipated. However, falling snow
will combine with the expected wind, producing areas of reduced
visibilities. Persons with outdoor interests or those planning travel
into the Panhandle and northwestern Sandhills, should continue to
monitor the latest forecasts and statements.
.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
