THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF WESTERN AND
NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

GENERAL THUNDERSTORM DEVELOPMENT IS POSSIBLE THIS AFTERNOON ALONG
THE DRYLINE IN THE WEST. AS SURFACE HEATING INCREASES AND A UPPER
DISTURBANCE MOVES EAST THERE IS A MARGINAL CHANCE A FEW STORMS
COULD BECOME SEVERE OVER SOUTHWEST NEBRASKA AND MOVE INTO THE
CENTRAL BY EVENING. DAMAGING WINDS ARE THE PRIMARY SEVERE THREAT
AS THE THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOPMENT AND MOVE EASTWARD.

LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY IS EXPECTED THIS AFTERNOON ACROSS THE
NEBRASKA PANHANDLE...AND WILL RAISE WILDFIRE CONCERNS. RELATIVE
HUMIDITY WILL DROP BELOW 20 PERCENT...BUT WINDS SHOULD REMAIN
LIGHT KEEPING FIRE DANGER FROM REACHING CRITICAL LEVELS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY.

THE CHANCE FOR A FEW THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUES SATURDAY MORNING AS
A COLD FRONT SWEEPS THROUGH THE REGION. THE THREAT FOR SEVERE
STORMS IS LOW.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

SPOTTER ACTIVATION MAY BE NEEDED THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING IN THE
SOUTHWEST AND CENTRAL.
