This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and
north central Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

Through sunrise, areas of frost are expected over northwestern
Nebraska affecting Sheridan and Cherry Counties. Patchy frost will
be possible across portions of the western sandhills, portions of
north central Nebraska, as well as the Platte River Valley.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY.

Thunderstorms are possible Thursday through Saturday. The
potential for a few strong or severe storms will exist Friday
afternoon into Friday night for areas near and south of a line
from Lisco through Brady. Large hail and damaging winds will be
the primary hazards.

Elevated river levels will occur along the South Platte river at
Roscoe and North Platte later this week. At this time, no flooding
is expected, however the river is expected to crest Thursday at
Roscoe and Friday at North Platte, then fall slightly into the
weekend.

Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
