THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF WESTERN AND
NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT.

LIGHT TO OCCASIONAL MODERATE SNOW WILL SPREAD EAST ACROSS
NORTHWEST NEBRASKA AND THE ADJACENT WESTERN SANDHILLS TODAY AND
TONIGHT. ACCUMULATIONS OF TWO INCHES OR MORE ARE POSSIBLE ALONG
AND NORTHWEST OF CHAPPELL TO HYANNIS TO VALENTINE LINE. THE
HEAVIEST SNOW IS ANTICIPATED ACROSS NORTHERN GARDEN...SHERIDAN
AND WESTERN CHERRY COUNTIES WHERE FOUR INCHES OR MORE MAY
ACCUMULATE THIS EVENING AND OVERNIGHT.

IN ADDITION TO LIGHT SNOW...PATCHY LIGHT FREEZING DRIZZLE IS
POSSIBLE THIS EVENING...GENERALLY ALONG AND SOUTH OF A LINE FROM
BIG SPRINGS...TO THEDFORD...TO NAPER. THE THREAT FOR FREEZING
DRIZZLE IS EXPECTED TO END AROUND MIDNIGHT CST (11 PM MST) THIS
EVENING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.

LIGHT SNOW WILL CONTINUE ACROSS NORTHWEST NEBRASKA AND MUCH OF
THE ADJACENT SANDHILLS FRIDAY MORNING...ADDITIONAL ACCUMULATIONS
ON FRIDAY WILL BE LIGHT.

AN ADDITIONAL BAND OF SNOW WILL SPREAD NORTHEAST FROM SOUTHWEST
NEBRASKA ACROSS MUCH OF THE EASTERN SANDHILLS AND NORTH CENTRAL
NEBRASKA FRIDAY THROUGH EARLY SATURDAY MORNING. ACCUMULATING SNOW
IS POSSIBLE FOR LOCATIONS ALONG AND SOUTHEAST OF A OGALLALA...TO
THEDFORD TO BURWELL LINE. THE HEAVIEST ACCUMULATIONS OF UP TO
FOUR INCHES OR MORE ARE EXPECTED FROM SOUTHEAST LINCOLN COUNTY
NORTHEAST THROUGH CENTRAL CUSTER COUNTY AND INTO WHEELER COUNTY.

LIGHT SNOW IS POSSIBLE SUNDAY NIGHT AND MONDAY. THIS SNOW IS
ASSOCIATED WITH A VERY COLD ARCTIC HIGH PRESSURE SYSTEM WHICH
IS EXPECTED TO PRODUCE DANGEROUS WIND CHILL READINGS MONDAY
THROUGH WEDNESDAY.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

SPOTTER ACTIVATION WILL NOT BE NEEDED THROUGH TONIGHT...HOWEVER
STORM SPOTTERS AND COOPERATIVE WEATHER OBSERVERS ARE ASKED TO
RELAY SNOW TOTALS TO THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NORTH
PLATTE.
