This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and
north central Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

As a strong cold front pushes through the state this evening,
wintry precipitation will overspread the northern Sandhills. One
to three inches of snow is expected near the Pine Ridge by Monday
morning. Light snow mixed with freezing drizzle is possible for
southwest and central Nebraska late tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.

The strongest portion of the storm arrives Monday evening, with
snow intensifying across the region. Heavy accumulations are
possible for northwest Nebraska, moderate across the Sandhills,
and light accumulations for southwest Nebraska.

Dangerous wind chills are also possible with this system with
readings approaching -25 across northern Nebraska Tuesday and
Wednesday mornings.
