THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF WESTERN AND
NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

NEAR CRITICAL FIRE CONDITIONS THIS AFTERNOON ACROSS THE
SOUTHEASTERN PANHANDLE AND SOUTHWEST NEBRASKA. WITH HIGHS IN THESE
AREAS NEAR 70 OR THE LOWER 70S AND DEWPOINTS FALLING INTO THE
UPPER 20S...MINIMUM RELATIVE HUMIDITIES OF 15 TO 20 PERCENT
ARE FORECAST. WITH NORTHWEST WINDS OF 15 TO 25 MPH...NEAR CRITICAL
FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS MAY BE MET. ANY UNCONTROLLED FIRES COULD
SPREAD QUICKLY.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.

A STORM SYSTEM WILL MOVE ACROSS THE PLAINS EARLY THIS WEEK...
WHICH COULD RESULT IN THE FIRST THUNDERSTORMS THIS SPRING. THESE
STORMS WOULD OCCUR MONDAY NIGHT INTO TUESDAY. SEVERE STORMS ARE
NOT EXPECTED.

STRONG WEST TO NORTHWEST WINDS WILL DEVELOP TUESDAY...AND THESE
WINDS COUPLED WITH VERY DRY AIR WILL LEAD TO INCREASED FIRE
DANGER.

BEYOND TUESDAY...NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS ANTICIPATED AT THIS
TIME.
