This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and
north central Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

There is a slight risk for severe thunderstorms late this
afternoon through tonight roughly south of a line from Big
Springs to Brady. Elsewhere, there is a marginal risk across much
of the remaining area of western Nebraska for strong to briefly
severe thunderstorms. Damaging winds and large hail are the
primary hazards.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY.

There is a slight risk for severe thunderstorms Thursday and
Thursday evening mainly along and east of a line from Imperial to
Thedford to Bassett.

Strong or briefly severe thunderstorms are also possible Sunday
and Sunday night. The threat for strong or severe weather is
uncertain beyond Sunday night.

Spotter activation may be needed late this afternoon and evening.
