AT 1113 PM MST DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED LIGHT SNOW FROM VALENTINE TO
ARTHUR TO BIG SPRINGS. THIS AREA OF SNOW WAS MOVING NORTHEAST AT 25
MPH AND EXTENDED WEST TO HAY SPRINGS...CRESCENT LAKE AND CHAPPELL.

LOCATIONS THAT ARE AFFECTED INCLUDE...
DEUEL...GARDEN...GRANT...HOOKER...KEITH...SHERIDAN...ARTHUR AND
CHERRY COUNTIES.

SNOWFALL RATES OF 1/4 INCH OR LESS PER HOUR ARE EXPECTED THROUGH 330
AM MST. NORTH WINDS OF 10 TO 20 MPH GUSTING TO 25 MPH WILL PRODUCE
AREAS OF BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW. VISIBILITY WILL FALL TO BETWEEN
1 AND 3 MILES BUT AS LOW AS 1/2 MILE IN FAVORED OPEN AREAS.

THIS SNOW WAS PART OF A LARGE WINTER STORM CIRCULATING THROUGH THE
CENTRAL ROCKIES TONIGHT. THE SNOW IS EXPECTED TO BECOME LIGHTER
ACROSS WESTERN NEBRASKA OVERNIGHT AS THE STORM REDEVELOPS FARTHER
EAST TOWARD MORNING.

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM MST ACROSS
PARTS OF WESTERN NEBRASKA INCLUDING EASTERN CHERRY COUNTY. SNOWFALL
AMOUNTS OF 2 TO 5 INCHES HAVE BEEN REPORTED ACROSS WESTERN CHERRY
COUNTY THIS EVENING. RADAR INDICATED SIMILAR AMOUNTS HAVE LIKELY
FALLEN ACROSS PARTS OF GARDEN...SHERIDAN AND GRANT COUNTIES.
