.NOW...

At 1037 AM CDT/937 AM MDT/, Doppler radar indicated scattered
showers from 20 miles south of Medicine Lake to near Palisade,
moving east at 20 mph.

This morning...around 1/10 of an inch of rainfall is expected. A few
thunderstorms may develop producing heavier rainfall and this would
be most likely south of Interstate 80.

This rain was associated with an upper level disturbance moving
through Nebraska. Showers and thunderstorms are possible this
afternoon and this evening also as a second and perhaps a third
disturbance moves through the region.

Locations impacted include...
North Platte, Ogallala, Imperial, Grant, Oshkosh, Mullen, Big
Springs, Hayes Center, Arthur, Tryon, Sutherland, Hershey, Wauneta,
Paxton, Wallace, Brule, Madrid, Lewellen, Hyannis and Venango.

This includes the following highways...
 Highway 2 between mile markers 133 and 197.
 Highway 61 between mile markers 26 and 179.
 Highway 92 between mile markers 115 and 216.
 Highway 97 between mile markers 1 and 112.
 Interstate 80 in Nebraska between mile markers 91 and 182.
 Highway 83 between mile markers 28 and 91.
