EMBEDDED THUNDERSTORMS MOVING ACROSS THE CENTRAL AND EASTERN
SANDHILLS. THE FIRST WAVE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WAS LOCATED
ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM OCONTO...TO BERWYN...TO SARGENT...AND
MOVING NORTHEAST AT APPROXIMATELY 30 MPH. A QUARTER TO AS MUCH AS A
HALF OF AND INCH OF RAINFALL IS POSSIBLE WITH THESE SHOWERS AND
STORMS OVER THE NEXT HOUR...ALONG WITH BRIEF PERIODS OF GUSTY
WINDS AND SPORADIC LIGHTNING. THE SECOND WAVE OF PRECIPITATION
GENERALLY EXTENDED ALONG A LINE FROM WELLFLEET...TO NORTH
PLATTE...TO TRYON...AND WAS MOVING NORTHEAST AT APPROXIMATELY 35
MPH. A TENTH TO AS MUCH AS A QUARTER OF AN INCH IS POSSIBLE WITH
THIS LINE OF SHOWERS AND STORMS OVER THE NEXT HOUR.
