...Winter Weather Advisory in Effect Until 6 PM CST Friday...
Areas of fog will be seen this morning. Snow will develop in to
northwest Deuel County by 11 am CST (10 AM MST) then spread
south and east reaching the Ogallala area by noontime. Snow
accumulations of an inch are possible then west of Highway 61 by
noon CST. A snow band is expected to develop into Deuel County
from 1 pm to 3 pm to produce a couple inches with higher amounts
along and west of the Chappell area. The snow will spread south
and east to a line from Brady to Curtis and Hayes Center by 4 pm

...Winter Storm Warning in Effect until 6 PM CST Friday...
Widespread snow fall to continue today where through noontime a
snow band over the northern Sandhills will produce snow fall
rates from 1 to 2 inches per hour. The band through noontime will
focus from Sheridan County northeast through Cherry County to
include the communities of Ellsworth...the Merritt Reservoir area
and Valentine. Little change is expected until after 5 pm CST when
the band will begin to shift south and east to bring increasing
snow fall into the north central and southwest into the evening.
