At 926 PM CDT/826 PM MDT/, Doppler radar indicated the leading edge
of an area of rain from 8 miles west of Oshkosh to near Berwyn,
moving northeast at 15 mph.

Rainfall rates of up to one tenth of an inch per hour are expected
this evening. Heavier rain will develop later tonight.

This rain was associated with a developing spring storm. The storm
will move into Southwest Nebraska this evening and stall.

Significant rain and snowfall is expected tonight and Friday across
much of Western and North Central Nebraska. The transition to wet
snow will occur late tonight and Friday morning.

Locations impacted include...
North Platte, Ogallala, Broken Bow, Imperial, Grant, Curtis,
Chappell, Oshkosh, Big Springs, Stapleton, Hayes Center, Arthur,
Tryon, Sutherland, Hershey, Arnold, Wauneta, Callaway, Sargent and
Paxton.

This includes the following highways...
 Highway 183 between mile markers 73 and 120.
 Highway 2 between mile markers 246 and 307.
 Highway 61 between mile markers 25 and 142.
 Highway 92 between mile markers 115 and 308.
 Highway 97 between mile markers 1 and 47.
 Interstate 80 in Nebraska between mile markers 78 and 207.
