Scattered showers, with embedded thunderstorms, will continue to
develop and track across the western sandhills into portions of
north central Nebraska through 930 PM CDT (830 PM MDT). The
heaviest precipitation will fall from north of Whittman to Merritt
Reservoir. In these areas, hourly precipitation amounts may
approach a quarter inch. Elsewhere, hourly precipitation amounts
will be under a tenth of an inch.

Numerous showers and thunderstorms will continue to move from
southwestern into central and portions of the eastern sandhills
through 930 PM CDT. Heavy rain, small hail and frequent lightning
is likely with these storms. Hourly precipitation amounts may
approach a half and inch, especially over western into northern
Custer county.
