NORTHWEST NEBRASKA AND PORTIONS OF THE NORTHWESTERN SANDHILLS...AND
EVENTUALLY SPREAD ACROSS NORTHERN CHERRY COUNTY LATER THIS
EVENING. SNOWFALL RATES OF A QUARTER TO HALF AN INCH PER HOUR ARE
POSSIBLE. HEAVIER ACCUMULATIONS OF AN INCH PER HOUR ARE POSSIBLE
OVER THE EASTERN PANHANDLE SOUTH TO INTERSTATE 80 IN DEUEL COUNTY.
EAST NORTHEASTERLY WINDS OF 15 TO 25 MPH WILL CREATE AREAS OF
BLOWING SNOW...WHICH WILL REDUCE VISIBILITY TO A MILE OR LESS AT
TIMES. MOTORISTS TRAVELING AREA ROADWAYS ACROSS THE EASTERN
PANHANDLE AND NORTHWEST NEBRASKA NEED TO EXERCISE CAUTION AS
HAZARDOUS TRAVEL IS ANTICIPATED.

NORTHEAST WIND GUSTS OF 25 MPH...VISIBILITY HAS LOWERED BELOW A
QUARTER MILE AT TIMES. HAZARDOUS TRAVEL IS ANTICIPATED...AND MAY
BECOME DIFFICULT OR IMPOSSIBLE OVER THE NEXT COUPLE HOURS AS
DRIFTS FORM. IF POSSIBLE...DELAY TRAVEL UNTIL CONDITIONS IMPROVE

ACCUMULATING SNOWS TO THE REGION. THE MODERATE SNOWFALL WILL
COMBINE WITH GUSTY NORTHEAST WINDS TO REDUCE VISIBILITY BELOW A
HALF MILE AT TIMES LATE THIS EVENING.
