CONTINUE ACROSS NORTH SHERIDAN COUNTY AND NORTHWEST CHERRY COUNTY.
SNOWFALL RATES OF 1/2 TO 1 INCH PER HOUR WILL OCCUR IN A BAND OF
HEAVY SNOW FROM CHADRON TO PINE RIDGE INCLUDING AREAS SOUTH AND
EAST ALONG HIGHWAY 20 EAST TO MERRIMAN. VISIBILITY WILL FALL TO
1/2 MILE IN HEAVY SNOW.

FARTHER SOUTH...LIGHT FREEZING RAIN AND FREEZING DRIZZLE CONTINUES
FROM IMPERIAL NORTH TO ELLSWORTH. A LIGHT ICE ACCUMULATION IS
POSSIBLE ON ROADWAYS. AN ARCTIC COLD FRONT WILL MOVE THROUGH
OVERNIGHT AND SWEEP THIS MOISTURE SOUTH INTO KANSAS.

ALL OF THIS WINTER WEATHER WAS ASSOCIATED WITH AN UPPER LEVEL
DISTURBANCE MOVING THROUGH THE NORTHERN PLAINS WHICH WILL USHER
IN MUCH COLDER ARCTIC AIR LATER THIS MORNING. A WINTER WEATHER
ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT THIS MORNING FOR SHERIDAN...CHERRY...KEYA
PAHA AND BOYD COUNTIES.
