At 951 PM CDT/851 PM MDT/, Doppler radar indicated showers from near
White Clay to 13 miles southeast of Valentine to near Amelia. These
showers were nearly stationary.

Rainfall rates of less than one tenth of an inch per hour are
expected this evening. Heavier rainfall will develop later tonight.

This rain was associated with a developing spring storm. The storm
will move into Southwest Nebraska this evening and stall.

Significant rain and snowfall is expected tonight and Friday across
much of Western and North Central Nebraska. The transition to wet
snow will occur late tonight and Friday morning.

Locations impacted include...
Valentine, Ainsworth, Gordon, Rushville, Bassett, Hay Springs,
Springview, Atkinson, Stuart, Long Pine, Chambers, Ellsworth,
Hyannis, Cody, Merriman, Newport, Kilgore, Johnstown, Nenzel and
Medicine Lake.

This includes the following highways...
 Highway 183 between mile markers 151 and 225.
 Highway 20 between mile markers 76 and 305.
 Highway 250 between mile markers 1 and 48.
 Highway 2 between mile markers 99 and 164.
 Highway 61 between mile markers 139 and 231.
 Highway 97 between mile markers 71 and 141.
 Highway 12 between mile markers 1 and 61.
