TO ROSE...MOVING SOUTH AT 20 MPH. ISOLATED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
CONTINUE TO DEVELOP ACROSS SOUTH CENTRAL AND SOUTHWEST
NEBRASKA...MOVING NORTH AT 20 MPH.

LOCATIONS THAT MAY BE AFFECTED INCLUDE...
NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA...THE SANDHILLS AND WESTERN NEBRASKA.

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT TODAY FOR SNOW AND STRONG
WINDS FROM GARDEN COUNTY EAST THROUGH WHEELER COUNTY INCLUDING ALL
AREAS SOUTH. A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW IS
IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON ACROSS SHERIDAN COUNTY AND WESTERN CHERRY
COUNTY.

THE RAIN WILL CHANGE TO WET SNOW WITH SNOWFALL RATES OF 1/2 TO 1
INCH PER HOUR THIS MORNING...MAINLY ACROSS THE SANDHILLS AND
SOUTHWEST NEBRASKA. VISIBILITY WILL FALL TO 1/2 MILE AT TIMES. THIS
RAIN SNOW LINE WILL MOVE SOUTH AND BEGIN AFFECTING INTERSTATE 80
EAST OF OGALLALA BY 8 AM MDT AND NORTH PLATTE BY 9 OR 10 AM CDT.

THUNDERSTORM COVERAGE SHOULD REMAIN ISOLATED ACROSS
CUSTER...LINCOLN...HAYES AND FRONTIER COUNTIES. SMALL HAIL IS
POSSIBLE WITH THESE STORMS.

NORTH WINDS WILL CONTINUE AT 25 TO 35 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 50 MPH.
STRONGEST WINDS ARE EXPECTED ALONG AND SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 80
INCLUDING CUSTER COUNTY.

THIS WEATHER WAS PART OF A DEVELOPING CENTRAL ROCKIES STORM SYSTEM
WHICH WILL MOVE THROUGH THE CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN PLAINS
TODAY PRODUCING RAIN...SNOW...THUNDERSTORMS...STRONG WINDS...HEAVY
SNOW AND SEVERE WEATHER.
