...RECORD HIGH TEMPERATURES WERE REACHED TODAY...

ABOVE NORMAL TEMPERATURES PERSISTED ANOTHER DAY WITH HIGHS SOARING
INTO THE UPPER 80S TO LOW 90S ACROSS SOUTHWESTERN AND SOUTH CENTRAL
NEBRASKA. HIGHS REACHED THE 70S TO 80S ACROSS NORTH CENTRAL AND
WESTERN NEBRASKA. BELOW IS A LIST WITH THE FOUR CLIMATE SITES WITH
THEIR HIGH TEMPERATURE FOR THE DAY AND THE PREVIOUS DAILY RECORD AND
THE MONTHLY RECORD. NORTH PLATTE AND IMPERIAL BOTH REACHED THEIR
RECORD HIGH FOR THE DAY AND THE RECORD ALL-TIME MONTHLY HIGH FOR
MARCH WAS TIED IN IMPERIAL AND BROKEN IN NORTH PLATTE. THIS IS THE
FIRST TIME ON RECORD NORTH PLATTE HAS REACHED 90 DEGREES OR MORE
THIS EARLY...THE PREVIOUS RECORD WAS APRIL 8 1887. BROKEN BOW
REACHED THEIR DAILY RECORD HIGH BUT WAS STILL BELOW THE ALL-TIME
MONTHLY RECORD FOR MARCH.
