SUMMARY: Witnesses describe a tornado touching down and destroying
mainly cottonwood trees and wind breaks. There was one large healthy
cottonwood tree with some large limbs down. There was also damage
to an old barn and a large outbuilding with hangar doors. There was
a partial collapse of the barn and the hangar doors were blown off
of the large metal outbuilding. The tornado also picked up a pile
of lumber and scattered it across the property. The local power
company reports that 30 power poles were also replaced due to damage,
some poles were snapped and others were pushed over.
