1119 PM CDT THU AUG 27 2015

AN UPPER LEVEL STORM SYSTEM AND SURFACE LOW PRESSURE LOCATED IN
CENTRAL NEBRASKA CAUSED ISOLATED SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS TO DEVELOP IN
CUSTER COUNTY DURING THE EARLY EVENING HOURS. LARGE HAIL OF GOLF
BALL SIZE AFFECTED THE CALLAWAY AND OCONTO AREAS...WITH THE
THUNDERSTORMS TRANSITIONING TO HEAVY RAINFALL ACROSS CENTRAL CUSTER
COUNTY. THE BROKEN BOW ASOS RECORDED 2.08 INCHES OF RAINFALL IN ONLY
ONE HOUR BETWEEN 700 PM AND 800 PM CDT. THIS HEAVY RAINFALL PROMPTED
THE ISSUANCE OF A FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR CENTRAL CUSTER COUNTY.
