...July temperatures were near normal for both Valentine and North Platte,
while precipitation was near normal for Valentine and above normal for
North Platte...

Temperatures for July were near normal across all of western and north
central Nebraska. Some above normal temperatures were present across
portions of the eastern Nebraska Panhandle and far southwestern
Nebraska. Precipitation for the month was near normal to slightly
above normal across western and north central Nebraska. Below normal
precipitation occurred in the northeastern Nebraska panhandle, as
well as far southwestern Nebraska.

For North Platte, the average daily mean temperature for the month of
July was 74.4 degrees which was 0.1 degrees above the normal of 74.3
degrees. The average daily high temperature for July was 86.7 degrees
which was 1.5 degrees below the normal of 88.2 degrees. The average daily
low temperature for the month was 62.0 degrees which was 1.6 degrees above
the normal of 60.4 degrees. No daily temperature records were set during
the month of July at North Platte.

For Valentine, the average daily mean temperature for the month of
July was 74.1 degrees which was 0.4 degrees below the normal of 74.5
degrees. The average daily high temperature for July was 87.6 degrees which
was 1.1 degrees below the normal of 88.7 degrees. The average daily low
temperature for the month was 60.5 degrees which was 0.1 degrees above the
normal of 60.4 degrees. No daily temperature records were set during the
month of July at Valentine.

At Lee Bird Field in North Platte, precipitation for July totaled
3.84 inches which was 0.77 inches above the normal of 3.07 inches.
No daily precipitation records were set during the month of
July for North Platte.

At Miller field in Valentine, precipitation for July totaled 3.11 inches
which was 0.10 inches below the normal of 3.21 inches. No daily
precipitation records were set during the month of July for Valentine.
