TO 6:00 AM LST SUNDAY NOVEMBER 30TH 2014...

HIGH TEMPERATURES ON SATURDAY NOVEMBER 29TH 2014 WERE 17 TO 38 DEGREES ABOVE
NORMAL ACROSS WESTERN AND NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA...WITH MOST LOCATIONS
REACHING INTO THE LOWS 60S TO MID 70S. THESE HIGH TEMPERATURES...WERE DUE
IN PART TO VERY WARM AIR LOCATED JUST ABOVE THE SURFACE...WHICH WAS THEN
ABLE TO MIX DOWN TO THE SURFACE DURING THE DAYLIGHT HOURS. LATER IN THE DAY
AND OVERNIGHT...A STRONG ARCTIC COLD FRONT PASSED OVER THE REGION...DROPPING
TEMPERATURES BY AS MUCH AS 45 TO 68 DEGREES ACROSS THE REGION. THE LARGEST
18 HOUR TEMPERATURE SWING OF 68 DEGREES...OCCURRED AT THE O`NEILL
AIRPORT...WHEN A MAXIMUM TEMPERATURE OF 76 DEGREES WAS REACHED AT
APPROXIMATELY 1:55 PM CST SATURDAY NOVEMBER 29TH 2014...AND A MINIMUM
TEMPERATURE OF 8 DEGREES WAS SET AT APPROXIMATELY 5:55 AM CST SUNDAY
