SUMMARY: Witnesses describe a tornado touching down and destroying
mainly cottonwood trees and wind breaks. There was one large healthy
cottonwood tree that was snapped and twisted with branches strewn
across the property. There was also damage to an old barn and a
hangar, whose doors were blown about 500 yards. The tornado also
picked up a pile of lumber and scattered it across the property.
