...THUNDERSTORMS BRING HEAVY RAIN...HAIL...AND SOME FLASH FLOODING
TO PORTIONS OF WESTERN AND NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA...

ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOPED IN CENTRAL CHERRY COUNTY AND
EASTERN KEITH COUNTY ALONG AN EXISTING SURFACE FRONT LATE TUESDAY
AFTERNOON. THE THUNDERSTORMS INTENSIFIED AND INCREASED IN COVERAGE
INTO THE EVENING HOURS. HAIL UP TO GOLF BALL SIZE WAS REPORTED
NEAR SUTHERLAND IN LINCOLN COUNTY. RAINFALL OF THREE INCHES WAS
REPORTED BY A COOPERATIVE OBSERVER SOUTHEAST OF HERSHEY IN LINCOLN
COUNTY. REPORTS OF FLASH FLOODING OCCURRED IN PORTIONS OF KEITH
AND LINCOLN COUNTY. DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATED STORM TOTAL RAINFALL
AMOUNTS FROM 1 TO 3 INCHES TO LOCALLY FIVE INCHES IN A TWENTY MILE
WIDE AREA EXTENDING FROM NEAR OGALLALA IN KEITH COUNTY TO NEAR
CURTIS IN FRONTIER COUNTY.
