A STRONG AREA OF HIGH PRESSURE MOVED SOUTH INTO THE CENTRAL PLAINS
MONDAY NIGHT...BRINGING WELL BELOW NORMAL TEMPERATURES TO WESTERN AND
NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA. VALENTINE RECORDED THEIR 5TH COLDEST JULY
MORNING DATING BACK TO 1889...HOWEVER IT WAS NOT A NEW RECORD FOR THIS
DATE. A NEW RECORD LOW WAS SET AT NORTH PLATTE...AND A RECORD LOW WAS
TIED AT IMPERIAL. BELOW IS A LIST OF LOW TEMPERATURES FROM AROUND THE
FORECAST AREA AS OF 7 AM CDT TUESDAY MORNING:
