...SATURDAY JULY 2ND 2016 PRELIMINARY HIGH TEMPERATURES
ACROSS WESTERN AND NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA...

HIGH TEMPERATURES MORE NORMAL OF OCTOBER...RATHER THAN THE 2ND DAY
OF JULY...WERE EXPERIENCED ACROSS ALL OF WESTERN AND NORTH CENTRAL
NEBRASKA. THESE HIGH TEMPERATURES WERE ANYWHERE FROM 20...TO 25
DEGREES BELOW NORMAL! THE COOLEST PRELIMINARY HIGH TEMPERATURES
OCCURRED ACROSS THE HEART OF THE NEBRASKA SANDHILLS AND CENTRAL
NEBRASKA...WHERE THE MERCURY ONLY REACHED 61 DEGREES. SLIGHTLY
WARMER TEMPERATURES IN THE UPPER 60S TO LOW 70S WERE FELT OVER THE
EASTERN PANHANDLE...THANKS IN PART TO SOME BREAKS IN THE PESKY LOW
CLOUD COVER...WHICH HAS ENVELOPED THE ENTIRE REGION OVER THE PAST
FEW DAYS.
