.A STRONG COLD FRONT WILL PASS THROUGH THE EASTERN NEBRASKA
PANHANDLE AND WESTERN SANDHILLS THROUGH 11 PM MDT. BEHIND THE
FRONT...A SIGNIFICANT WIND SHIFT AND STRONG NORTHWESTERLY WINDS
OF 30 TO 45 MPH ARE LIKELY IMMEDIATELY BEHIND THE FRONT. IN ADDITION
TO WIND...ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE AS WELL AND GIVEN
THE HIGH BASED NATURE OF THE STORMS...DRY LIGHTNING IS POSSIBLE AS
WELL.

* AFFECTED AREA...IN NEBRASKA...FIRE WEATHER ZONE 204 EASTERN
  PANHANDLE/CRESCENT LAKE NWR.

* WINDS...WEST 15 TO 20 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 30 MPH...BECOMING
  NORTHWEST AND INCREASING TO 25 TO 35...WITH GUSTS UP TO 45 MPH.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...AS LOW AS 20 PERCENT.

* IMPACTS...ANY RANGE FIRE THAT START MAY HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO
  BURN OUT OF CONTROL AND EXHIBIT EXTREME BURNING BEHAVIOR. A
  STRONG COLD FRONT AND SIGNIFICANT WIND SHIFT...WILL MAKE
  FIGHTING ANY FIRES WHICH ARE ONGOING...DIFFICULT.
