Showers and thunderstorms moved into the area yesterday evening,
and persisted through the overnight hours and into this morning.
Rainfall accumulations of a quarter to one and a half inches were
observed, with the greatest totals across central Nebraska. Snow
was observed across portions of western Nebraska this morning as
well, with light accumulations on grassy surfaces. Low
temperatures fell into the 30s to low 40s.

High temperatures only climb into the 40s to low 50s under cloudy
skies and continued rain generally north of Interstate 80. Rain is
anticipated to end this afternoon from south to north. Winds
remain out of the northwest at 10 to 15 miles per hour, with gusts
approaching 25 miles per hour this afternoon.
