...UNSEASONABY COLD WEATHER EXPECTED THROUGH SATURDAY...

UNSEASONABLY COLD AIR WILL PUSH INTO NEBRASKA THURSDAY AND
THURSDAY NIGHT AND CONTINUE THROUGH SATURDAY. HIGH TEMPERATURES
THURSDAY WILL ONLY BE IN THE 40S TO AROUND 50 DEGREES.
PRECIPITATION IS EXPECTED TO SPREAD ACROSS WESTERN AND NORTH
CENTRAL NEBRASKA THROUGH THE DAY THURSDAY AND INTO THURSDAY NIGHT.
AS TEMPERATURES DROP THURSDAY NIGHT...RAIN MAY CHANGE OVER TO A
MIX OF RAIN AND SNOW OVER THE WESTERN SANDHILLS AND EASTERN
NEBRASKA PANHANDLE. BY EARLY FRIDAY MORNING...THE MIX OF RAIN AND
SNOW IS LOOKING TO SPREAD THROUGH THE REST OF THE SANDHILLS REGION
AND INTO THE INTERSTATE 80 CORRIDOR. DUE TO WARM GROUND
CONDITIONS...THE POTENTIAL FOR ACCUMULATING SNOW IS LOW.

AS THE SKY CLEARS IN NORTHWEST NEBRASKA THURSDAY NIGHT...FROST IS
EXPECTED AS TEMPERATURES WILL DROP INTO THE LOW 30S. COLD
TEMPERATURES WILL CONTINUE THROUGH FRIDAY NIGHT AND SATURDAY
MORNING...AND WITH LOWS IN THE LOW 30S AGAIN...FROST WILL BE
POSSIBLE ACROSS MUCH OF WESTERN AND NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA.

FARMERS...RANCHERS AND PERSONS WITH OUTDOOR INTERESTS...SHOULD
MONITOR THE LATEST FORECASTS AND STATEMENTS...AND BE PREPARED FOR
THE THREAT OF SNOW THURSDAY NIGHT...AS WELL AS UNSEASONABLY
COLD...NEAR FREEZING TEMPERATURES THURSDAY NIGHT AND FRIDAY NIGHT.
