A STRONG POLAR COLD FRONT WILL TRACK ACROSS WESTERN AND NORTH
CENTRAL NEBRASKA TONIGHT. AFTER HIGHS IN THE 70S AND LOWER 80S
TODAY...HIGHS WEDNESDAY WILL RANGE FROM THE LOWER 50S IN NORTH
CENTRAL NEBRASKA...TO THE LOWER 60S OVER SOUTHWESTERN NEBRASKA. ON
THURSDAY...HIGHS WILL RANGE FROM THE MIDDLE 40S OVER THE
NORTHEASTERN NEBRASKA PANHANDLE...TO THE LOWER 50S ALONG AND SOUTH
OF INTERSTATE 80. ON THURSDAY NIGHT...A STRONG UPPER LEVEL TROUGH
OF LOW PRESSURE WILL SPREAD PRECIPITATION TO WESTERN AND NORTH
CENTRAL NEBRASKA. AS TEMPERATURES DIP INTO THE LOWER 30S ACROSS
PORTIONS OF THE WESTERN SANDHILLS AND EASTERN PANHANDLE...RAIN
MAY MIX WITH WET SNOW OVERNIGHT THURSDAY NIGHT. AT THIS TIME...IF
ANY SNOW DOES DEVELOP...WARM GROUND CONDITIONS SHOULD PREVENT SNOW
FROM ACCUMULATING. TOWARD FRIDAY MORNING...IF SKIES CAN CLEAR
ACROSS THE NORTHEASTERN NEBRASKA PANHANDLE AND WESTERN SANDHILLS...AREAS
OF FROST MAY DEVELOP IN THESE AREAS. FARMERS AND RANCHERS SHOULD
MONITOR THE LATEST FORECASTS AND STATEMENTS AND BE PREPARED FOR
UNSEASONABLY COLD...NEAR FREEZING TEMPERATURES THURSDAY NIGHT INTO
