...UNSEASONABLY COLD TEMPERATURES LATE THIS WEEK...

A STRONG COLD FRONT DROPPING SOUTH ACROSS THE AREA LATE TUESDAY
WILL USHER IN MUCH COOLER WEATHER BEGINNING ON WEDNESDAY. HIGHS
WEDNESDAY WILL ONLY REACH THE 50S ACROSS NORTHERN NEBRASKA
AND 60S FARTHER SOUTH. ON THURSDAY...MOST OF WESTERN AND NORTH
CENTRAL NEBRASKA WILL STRUGGLE TO LEAVE THE 40S WITH RAIN LIKELY.
THE AIR TURNS EVEN COLDER THURSDAY NIGHT AND MAY SWITCH THE RAIN TO
SNOW ACROSS THE EASTERN PANHANDLE AND WESTERN SANDHILLS INTO NORTH
CENTRAL NEBRASKA. SNOWFALL AMOUNTS ARE UNCERTAIN DUE TO WARM GROUND AND
WILL LIKELY BE LIMITED TO GRASSY SURFACES...BUT HIGH SNOWFALL
RATES COULD LEAD TO VISIBILITY RESTRICTIONS...ESPECIALLY EARLY
FRIDAY MORNING. IN ADDITION...FROST IS POSSIBLE FRIDAY MORNING
OVER THE NORTHEAST PANHANDLE AND WESTERN SANDHILLS AS LOWS DIP TO
THE LOWER 30S. MONITOR THE LATEST STATEMENTS AND FORECASTS FOR
