MONDAY AFTERNOON...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NORTH PLATTE HAS ISSUED A WINTER
STORM WATCH...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM SUNDAY EVENING THROUGH
MONDAY AFTERNOON.

* TIMING...SNOW BEGINNING SUNDAY EVENING AND CONTINUING THROUGH THE
  DAY MONDAY. BLOWING AND DRIFTING MONDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...UP TO SEVEN AND A HALF INCHES IN CENTRAL
  AND NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA.

* WIND...INCREASING TO 20 TO 25 MPH GUSTING TO 35 MPH BY MIDDAY
  MONDAY.

* IMPACTS...LIGHT ICING POSSIBLE ALONG AND EAST OF HIGHWAY 83 WILL
  PRODUCE HAZARDS ON WALKWAYS AND ROADWAYS. SNOW WILL PRODUCE
  ACCUMULATIONS OF 3 TO 7 INCHES IN AREAS OF THE NEBRASKA
  SANDHILLS AND NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA AS WELL AS SOME
  RESTRICTIONS TO VISIBILITY.
