.DISCUSSION...Scattered to numerous showers and storms continue
this afternoon as a system lifts across the area. Lightning, small
hail and brief periods of moderate precipitation will be the main
threats. Drier air works into the area tonight but a band of
mountain snow and valley rain will linger across west-central and
southwest Colorado. Daily rounds of afternoon showers and storms
will favor the Divide on Sunday and continuing into early next
week. Elsewhere will remain mainly dry with warming temperatures.
